Innovation: Fimasys sets up the new version of Autodeploy, Open Source software

Suresnes, June 19th 2007 - Fimasys is the first publisher to set up the new version of Autodeploy, software designed for the deployment of applications in Java / J2EE, created by Jean-Baptist Onofré, Technical Architecture manager at Fimasys.

The policy of innovation of Fimasys has for a long time driven the publisher to use solutions Open Souce. One year of tests and use of Autodeploy within the department of R&D demonstrated its capacity and its efficiency in the automation of the processes of production.

"Autodeploy enables the automation of the deployment of an application in a server of applications such as JBoss, Weblogic or Websphere. It allows you to industrialize completely the software chain Java / J2EE, acting as a supplementary to automatic build tools (CruiseControl, AntHill, etc.) ", declares Jean-Baptist Onofré.

Fimasys is the first publisher of B2B software to use Autodeploy to facilitate the depolyment into production for its major customers. This tool is integrated into Buildprocess, " the toolbox of the administrator Java/J2EE ". BuildProcess facilitates the life of the administrator Java/J2EE by automating the many daily tasks. It brings a complete process of development, integration and continuous deployment.

Thanks to this application, Fimasys has a completely automated production line. Following the initial use by Fimasys, several big groups of the NTIC field also set up the same process within their computing teams.
