Securisation and SOA Strategy: Fimasys opens its Innovation Center

Paris, 25th of September 2008 – The editor of financial software products intended for financial institutions and groups, Fimasys announces the creation of its Innovation Center. Managed by Jean-Baptiste Onofré, the R&D pole's mission will be to make propositions and help the decision-making process for the Fimasys applicative suites. Its two main missions will be solutions’ securisation and implementation of the editor’s SOA strategy.

Fimasys Innovation Center

While innovation has always been a top concern in Fimasys strategy  since its creation in 1996, today the editor creates a technological innovation pole: the Fimasys Innovation Center.
At the head of the R&D pole, Jean-baptiste Onofré – Senior Technical Innovation Advisor -, in collaboration with universities, works on three main lines:

1.an active benchmarking in order to identify any potential technological innovation

2.the implementation of key technological innovations for Fimasys

3.technological alternatives offer in response to customers' needs

2 main programmes in progress:

Security programme

To face increasing risks of computer hacking, Fimasys has created a protection system for its ProFinance solution (for consumer credit and leasing management) developing a licence control system through protected keys, using advanced AJAX web technologies, to improve look and feel of the user interface.

SOA programme

To strengthen ProFinance modularity and facilitate system integration, Fimasys creates Fimasys Service Bus (FSB), very first component of its SOA architecture. This Entreprise Service Bus (ESB) has been built on henceforth recognized standards such as Apache ServiceMix, CXF, ODE, SOAP, XML,... and includes finance oriented business services.
